Anna Liu
Co-Founder and Partner
Anna Liu is a co-founder and partner at LDY Law, PC, with 15 years of real estate and landlord-tenant litigation experience. Her practice includes commercial and residential landlord-tenant disputes, buyouts, evictions, partition actions, buyer-seller disputes, and broader real estate conflict and counseling matters.
Before co-founding LDY Law, Anna spent more than a decade as a partner at a San Francisco real estate and landlord-tenant firm. She has tried cases, handled appeals, mediated and arbitrated disputes, and negotiated numerous settlements. Her work has included both the day-to-day landlord matters owners regularly face and the broader real estate disputes that can become business-critical when a conflict expands beyond a tenancy issue alone.

Anna Liu at LDY Law
Within LDY Law, Anna helps anchor the firm’s broader real estate disputes work, especially the matters that sit beside landlord-tenant law rather than fitting inside a narrow unlawful-detainer box. That range matters for owners, investors, and referral partners who need counsel able to handle both tenancy disputes and the related ownership, sale, or partition issues that can grow out of them.
Education
Anna earned her B.A. from San Francisco State University and her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law.
Leadership and Recognition
Anna serves on the Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association Real Property Law Section. She is also the former Co-Chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco Barristers Solo and Small Firm Executive Committee.
She received the Outstanding Barrister Award from the Bar Association of San Francisco in 2020. She was named to the Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars list every year from 2017 through 2025 and was selected to Super Lawyers in 2026.
